Grandparents, Uncles & Aunts, and Cousins - Oh My!

The weekend of Evelyn's baptism, there was a lot of hanging-out-with-the-family time. It was such a treat to get to play with relatives from near, far, and really far.

Evelyn's Baptism

We were blessed to have many family members join us to celebrate Evelyn's baptism. She was such a lucky little lady to have all her grandparents and great-grandparents in attendance for this special day.

The other excitement of the day: Eli's new tool bench. Assembling was half the fun (for Eli...not so sure how Pa and Daddy felt about the 1.5-hour project!)

Eli resumed swimming classes and thus far has proved to be quite the little fish! The week before swimming started, Eli gave his swimsuit a test run in the bathtub one night, and then requested to wear his suit to bed (we managed to convince him to stick to pjs for bedtime; however, he did end up napping in his swimsuit one afternoon). Hopefully this enthusiasm will continue throughout the entire season of lessons!

Eli and Evelyn spent Easter visiting relatives in Iowa. It was just warm enough outside to allow for a (very quick) egg hunt and was so fun to get to celebrate with family.
