Merry Christmas!

This year Eli and Evelyn celebrated Christmas with Mimi and Grandpa, Papa and GG, and aunts, uncles, and cousins over a couple different days of Christmas fun. Lots of Christmas means lots of pictures!

A Birthday and a Snow Day

Earlier this month, we celebrated a birthday for Daddy (we won't say which birthday) and enjoyed the first major snowstorm of winter (enjoyed since no one had to travel anywhere that day, we had plenty of food and supplies at home, and it was mid-December).

Making Things Merry and Bright

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Eli and Evelyn packed in a lot of festive fun. Here is a sampling:

Eli setting up the "Christmas barn" (his nativity set)

As you can see, when he was done, there was no room in the inn

Evelyn checks out the Christmas tree lights

This was as close as Eli would get to Santa...although Eli did chat Santa's ear off and inquire about what was in Santa's sack (activity books for the kids).

It was worth braving the wind and rain to see the beautiful tree
