Chop Chop

On a recent adventure out to lunch, the cafe had a kids' play area with toddler-safe play food for chopping. Eli enjoyed the play food almost as much as his real lunch, and became the proud owner of a play food chopping set of his own. He now spends a lot of time chopping (and velcro-ing back together) carrot, cucumber, apple, bread, and pepper.

Visting Cousin Isaac (and a Bunch of Other Relatives)

Seeking out some new playmates (other than just Mom), Eli went to visit his newest cousin, as well as his grandparents and great-grandparents. Mom and Dad tagged along too, and enjoyed a weekend of family time, and lots of new baby holding!

Me and My Buddies

One sure thing to cheer up a gloomy winter day (besides eating valentine's day candy, of course) is time spent with friends. Eli got to hang out with quite a few of his buddies lately.

Snack time!
(A note on this one: the adults did not plan/pose/otherwise orchestrate this photo opportunity - the kiddos just all took their snack cups and sat down on the step for a break to munch. And then the adults of course got out their cameras and it turned into a paparazzi snack time. It is hard being a toddler celebrity, but these are the things you must put up with when you are a cute as this crew!)

Everyone Has Fun When Grandma Comes to Visit

Grandma was kind enough to come stay over recently so that Mommy and Daddy could go out for an evening. Aside from a date night for the parents, Mommy, Grandma, and Eli enjoyed a couple of fun days around town.
