Our First Two Weeks

Two weeks of paternity leave went by way too fast (for everyone!). Here are a few pictures of the very low-key activities from the past two weeks.

Meeting More Family

Eli and Evelyn were thrilled to have Mimi and Pa, Papa and Gigi, and aunts, uncles, and cousins come visit during our first weekend home. It was fun to see all the cousins running, crawling, or even just wiggling around.

Fancy Haircut

Before the new baby excitement kicked into high gear, Eli and Daddy went to get their hair cut. Eli sat in the chair all by himself and was very excited about the lollipop treat he got after the haircut (he managed to make it last most of the day!).

Trick Or Treat!

In the midst of all the new baby excitement, we did make it home from the hospital in time for trick-or-treating fun. Eli Monkey visited the neighbors with Daddy and Mimi. He had so much fun that he continued on to more houses with Mimi, and did a great job remembering to say both his "trick or treat" and "thank you". Evelyn and Mommy stayed at home (our costume was recently discharged Mom and newborn).

Introducing...Evelyn Ruth!

The newest member of the family arrived last week! Evelyn weighed in at 7 lbs 8 oz. and is 20 inches long. Thus far, she is showing her sweet side to Mommy and Daddy. Eli has been a very helpful, and gentle, big brother with Miss Evelyn.
