Just Bein' Cute

These days, I feel like I should just glue a camera to my hand - every time I turn around, Eli is doing something adorable! Does this feeling of baby love ever fade? I sure hope not!

Coming to get you, Mommy!

With our move just around the corner, I finally took some pictures of the nursery before we have to pack everything up.

Laundry Day

Eli is already starting to help out around the house...most recently, he helped fold (or maybe it was unfold) the laundry.

Can I use this as a boat, Mom?

Has anyone seen my matching sock?

Laundry is fun!

Visit to W.B.

This past weekend, we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa (and the cats!), as we needed to get out of the house during our open house and Eli was missing his grandparents. What a fun way to spend a rainy Sunday!

Here Comes Spring

Spring is finally in the air, and Eli decided to enjoy the warmer weather by taking a little walk to visit Daddy at work.

Is this what you do all day, Dad? Work is fun!

Eli is showing signs of being closer to crawling each day. Mom and Dad are wondering if we can wait until the new house for baby gates...might be cutting it close!

Let's race, Mommy!

Techie Time

Eli continues to be fascinated by all electronic things. He helped Daddy with some online bill paying this morning.

You're right, Dad, diapers do take a lot out of the monthly budget!

Blue Snowman

With a slight turn to warmer weather at the end of this week, we were able to make it outside for a real walk. Even though it is "warmer" there was still a lot of bundling up involved. Thanks to Eli's cousins for letting him borrow this snowsuit!

Is Spring here yet?

Say Cheese!

Eli ventured away from the world of fruits and veggies and on to cheese this week. Goat cheese crumbles are tasty and fun to make a mess with!

Yum!

Eight is Great!

Eight months, that is. Where has the time gone? I know, I think that with each passing month...

Eli was happy to spend his eight-month birthday with his aunts and uncles. It was fun to see everyone, and also really helpful to be out of the house this weekend so that our Realtor could hold an open house.

Playing with Grandma and Aunt Corrinne

Eli's friends (and their mommies) came over for our monthly playdate. How funny to see nine babies in various stages of sitting, rolling, crawling, and standing up in our living room!

Grandma Visit, Part 2

Grandma and Grandpa visited with a sick little Eli over the weekend, but Grandma couldn't resist coming back this week to see fully healthy Eli in all his glory. We were glad to have an extra set of hands around to help during house preparations, and Eli had so much fun playing with Grandma. Judging by all the giggles and smiles, Grandma and Eli both had a good time.

Grandma lets me play with every toy I own...all at once!

Toes

After many weeks of valiant attempts, Eli has mastered the contortionist's skills required to suck on his own toes! This means that during diaper changes we spend a lot of time talking about toes, counting toes, and being extra careful that toe-sucking babies do not topple over off the changing table. Toes...delicious?!?

Almost got them...

Getting closer...

Catching Up

Spring is starting out with a lot of activity in the Brasel house: Eli experienced his first fever (ugh!), we put in an offer on a new house (it was accepted!), and we put our current house on the market (send positive house-selling vibes our way!). March came in like a lamb here, and there is lots to catch up on! Here are a few recent Eli pictures to start things off...
