Pack Your Dancing Shoes and Head North

We left the rainy, cold, blah, spring weather of Wisconsin for a weekend of sunshine and fun with the family in Minnesota. Who would have guessed that we would have to travel north to see sunshine! The kids did a great job on the long car rides, and enjoyed spending time at Grammy and Grampy B's house. Since we were in town for a family wedding, we also got to see many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. I'm sure the kids will be talking about all their adventures for weeks to come!

Ready for 8+ hours of car-riding fun (in optical illusion sunglasses)!

"Baby" does some dancing to the song "Happy"

Dairy Queen for dinner - yum!

Bike ride to the neighborhood park

Wheeeee!

Our fearless lady takes her turn on the big slide

Three generations, swinging

Grammy B has Gigglebellies on her tablet!!

Snacking in the sunshine

So nice to be outside

Home run in front-yard baseball

"Driving" every vehicle at the farm

Uncle Randy has the coolest toys on his farm

After a busy morning, everyone naps (except for the 3-year-old?!)

Party clothes on for wedding fun

Photographic proof that the hair bow was (briefly) in her hair

Making new friends, and playing with bubbles

Sweet little Mila enjoying the bubbles

Mesmerized by bubbles and balloons

Not the greatest photo, but I adore those joy-filled, sweet little faces tucked in each side of the frame

Somehow our little observer turned into the life of the party

Eli told us it was time to go back to Grammy's for bed because, "there are too many songs for me to dance to"

Car ride home, watching Bob the Builder and clutching the piece of lumber that Grampy B let him bring home with us.
