"Sunny" San Diego

Before we welcome bb (baby brasel) into our lives, we decided to take a little "babymoon" to San Diego. Some sunshine and warmer weather would definitely be a welcome change from the early spring cold and gloom that is Wisconsin in early March. In an interesting twist, San Diego is actually having a spell of unusually wet and cool weather, so Cory and I feel like we are vacationing in the Northwest, rather than in southern California. Still, vacation is vacation, and there is nothing to complain about when you are able to sleep 9 hours a night in a comfy bed (thank you, Marriott), see the world famous San Diego Zoo (many animals seem to like the cooler weather), and enjoy a mug of hot cocoa in a cute coffee shop while viewing palm trees (albeit, wet palm trees) out the window. There's hope for warmer and sunnier weather in the next couple days, so if we are lucky future posts will include some sunny, outdoor-themed pictures and stories, as well as basic baby details to get caught up on the past 21 weeks of pregnancy.
